The Medal Madness event is a multi-distance running race scheduled for March 14, 2026, in Pflugerville, Texas. Due to construction at the original venue, the event takes place at Lake Pflugerville Park. The race features several distance options to accommodate different goals:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
The courses are designed as out-and-back routes. The 5K and 10K utilize a 1.56-mile segment (3.11 miles total for one loop), with 5K participants completing one lap and 10K participants completing two laps. The Half Marathon and Marathon utilize a 1.64-mile segment (3.275 miles per loop). Those in the Half Marathon complete the loop four times, while Marathon runners complete it eight times.
The event has a total course time limit of 6 hours. All participants who complete their respective distances receive a themed finisher medal. While not mandatory, the organizers encourage participants to wear costumes, and a Best Costume Award is mailed out following the conclusion of the race.
Registration must be completed in advance through the online platform; there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is conducted at the race location during a 20-minute window ending shortly before the start.
