Heart of Round Rock Run
The Heart of Round Rock Run, presented by the C.D. Fulkes PTA, is a free community walk and run held on March 6, 2027 at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, Texas. The event is in its second year and is designed for families, students, and community members across Round Rock ISD.
Participants may choose from the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 mile
Both distances are untimed and have separate staging areas. The event includes participants from 16 RRISD campuses across elementary, middle, and high school levels. A family post race party follows the routes and features a DJ, a bounce house, family-friendly games, and food trucks.
Proceeds support Title 1 schools and fund classroom supplies, staff mini-grants, enrichment programs and clubs, and a student snack room to address student food needs. Registration is free and opens on November 30, 2026 and closes on March 6, 2027.
The event brings together local schools, families, and businesses with an emphasis on community connection and school support. The course takes place through Old Settlers Park and includes event staging and post event activities for families and students. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
