Course, support and logistics
The route passes through meadows, creek crossings, scenic overlooks, and over a large granite dome. Course markings include caution tape, yellow arrows, and frequent confidence markers; markings are reflective for night sections and are not color-coded by distance. At intersections, signs indicate which way each distance should go.
Aid stations: staffed locations at the start/finish/next-lap (Lake A.S.) and Jack A.S. provide full supplies; Road A.S. and Gate A.S. offer at minimum water, Tailwind, ice, and snacks. Some unstaffed stations may not stay on ice all day. Drop bags are allowed at the Lake area and at the Gate (360 Bridge) but are not transported by the organizer. All races are chip timed with ankle-mounted chips; gun time is used for official results and awards. Pacers are permitted after a runner completes two full loops; runners aged 60 and older may have a pacer for the full race. Camping and day use follow Reveille Peak Ranch fees; racers pay a camping fee per night and racer day use is covered for guests arriving with a racer in the same vehicle.
