Course and obstacles
The course runs through Texas Hill Country terrain with rolling hills, red dirt trails, fields of wildflowers and cactus, dry creek beds, exposed and rocky red granite slabs. Course maps are subject to change depending on conditions. The weekend also features a Spartan Trail Race at the same venue.
Listed obstacles include Atlas Carry, A-frame cargo, barbed wire crawl, fire jump, inverted wall, bucket carry, Hercules hoist, multi-rig, rope climb, sandbag carry, slip wall and rolling mud sections, spear throw, and walls, plus additional location-specific challenges. The Sprint shows an average completion duration of about 1 h 32 m 12 s. Up to 25% discount is offered for qualifying US service and emergency personnel.
