2026 Austin Spartan Event Weekend
The Austin Spartan Event Weekend takes place at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas. The venue spans over 62 miles of varied terrain, including wildflower fields, cacti, and dry creek beds. The course features unique geological elements such as rocky red granite slabs, exposed granite outcrops, and red dirt trails. Participants navigate a hilly Texas Hill Country landscape designed to test physical endurance.
The event offers several distinct race formats and obstacles:
- Sprint 5K: A 5 km course featuring 20 obstacles.
- Super 10K: A 10 km course featuring 25 obstacles.
- Kids Race: Distances ranging from 1 km to 3 km with age-appropriate obstacles.
- Hurricane Heat 4HR: A four-hour endurance event.
- Hurricane Heat 12HR: A twelve-hour endurance event.
In addition to the obstacle course races, the weekend includes the Spartan Trail Race. The venue provides on-site facilities such as Roo’s Lockerhouse for storage.
