Summer Meltdown Half Marathon - Little Rock
The event is scheduled for 08/08/2026 at River Front Park in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is organized by Bigfoot Running Company and includes multiple in-person race distances plus a virtual option.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash: 20 yards for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile: 1 mile, not chip timed
- 5K: 3.11 miles, chip timed
- Quarter Marathon: 6.55 miles, chip timed
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles, chip timed
- Volunteer then Run: 3.11 miles, limited to first 5 sign ups
- Virtual Run: 13.1 miles virtual option
The 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon include standard age group awards. First overall male and female finishers in those races receive trophies. Masters 40+ receive special recognition pins and age group placements use gold, silver, and bronze pins across listed age brackets from 10 and under to 70 plus.
Aid stations are positioned along the course to provide water. Snacks and refreshments are available at the finish area race rally tent. Live awards are announced at the registration tent immediately after finishes. A DJ provides announcements and music at the event.
Packet pickup is offered beginning 1.5 hours before the event. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for entries made at least 10 days before the event. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite, and some dirt paths. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
