Event overview
The Rodeo Stampede - Houston is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2026, at John Paul Landing Park in Cypress, Texas (24202 W Rd, 77433). The event is presented by Bigfoot Running Company and includes in-person and virtual options. Packet pickup is offered 1.5 hours before the event start, and the event proceeds rain or shine. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Aid stations will provide water on the course. All finishers of all distances receive a shirt and a medal; shirts are guaranteed only if ordered at least 10 days before the event.

Distances offered:
- Kids Dash - about 50 m, for ages 10 and under, not timed, includes shirt, medal, recognition pin.
- 1 Mile - not chip timed, includes shirt and medal.
- 5K - 3.11 miles, chip timed, overall trophies and masters recognition pins, standard age group awards.
- Quarter Marathon - 6.55 miles, chip timed, overall Bigfoot trophies and masters recognition pins.
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles, chip timed, overall Bigfoot trophies and masters recognition pins.
- Volunteer then Run 5K - limited spots, includes chip timed bib, tee, and finisher medal.
- Virtual Run
The event includes a cowboy costume contest (one winner chosen by crowd), a DJ, a Bigfoot mascot for photos, live awards, and refreshments at the race rally tent.
