Event Information

The Rodeo Stampede Houston is a running event hosted by the Bigfoot Running Company. It takes place at John Paul Landing Park in Cypress, Texas.

Race Distances

The event offers several race distances:

  • Kids Dash (approximately 50 meters, for children aged 10 and under)
  • 1 Mile Run
  • 5K (3.1 miles)
  • Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles)
  • Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
  • Virtual Run

A "Volunteer then Run 5K" option is also available, limited to a small number of participants.

Awards and Features

All finishers receive a medal and a custom event t-shirt. The finisher's medal for this event is a belt buckle. Trophies are awarded to the fastest overall male and female finisher in each event. Age group awards are given for the 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon distances.

The event includes a Cowboy Costume Contest with prizes. A DJ provides music, and a character mascot (Bigfoot) is present for photos. Snacks and refreshments are available post-race. Aid stations are present on the course.

Course and Logistics
