Rodeo Stampede - Houston overview
The Rodeo Stampede - Houston is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2026, in Cypress, TX (TBD Houston Area). The race is run by Bigfoot Running Company and is typically held in parks and greenbelts. Course surfaces may include pavement, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths. Packet pickup is offered 1.5 hours before the race start, and shirts are guaranteed if ordered at least 10 days before the event. The event proceeds rain, shine, hot or cold.
The event features on-course aid stations with water and assistance. A DJ and a Bigfoot mascot are planned for the race rally area. Snacks and refreshments will be available at the finish area. Results and awards are available at the registration tent immediately after finishers complete their event.

- Kids Dash - about 50 m, for ages 10 and under, not timed, includes shirt and medal.
- 1 Mile - not chip timed, includes shirt and medal.
- 5K - 3.11 miles, chip timed, overall trophies and age group awards.
- Quarter Marathon - 6.55 miles, chip timed, overall trophies and age group awards.
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles, chip timed, overall trophies and age group awards.
- Volunteer then Run 5K - 3.11 miles, custom chip-timed bib, shirt, medal, limited to first 10.
- Virtual Run - distance completed remotely.
All finishers receive a medal and shirt. Standard awards include overall male/female trophies, masters recognition pins, and age-group pins across multiple brackets. A cowboy costume contest will name one crowd-chosen winner with a trophy and prize pack. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
