Running through the Decades Half Marathon - Austin
The event takes place on May 30, 2026, at SE Metro Park in Del Valle, TX. It is hosted by Bigfoot Running Company and includes in-person and virtual options. The event features a pre-race costume contest and on-course music from a live DJ. Race swag includes a race shirt (shirt guarantee 10 days before race day) and finisher medals.

Course, awards and services
Courses use paved trails and park paths, with some mixed surfaces possible (crushed granite or dirt). Aid stations will provide water and support. All finishers receive a medal and shirt. Awards include overall 1st male/female Bigfoot trophies, Masters (40+) recognition, and age-group pins (Gold, Silver, Bronze) for age categories from 10 & under through 70+. Additional on-site offerings include packet pickup, post-race results at the registration tent, snacks at a rally tent, and event photography.
Volunteers and extras
Volunteer roles are listed for aid stations, course monitoring, finish line, packet pickup, lead bike, mascot, and more. A Volunteer then Run option includes a chip-timed bib, shirt, and finisher medal and is limited to the first sign-ups. Full-race volunteers receive a race shirt, VIP access, and a choice of a future race entry or a $20 Amazon digital gift card. Youth pricing is listed for ages 12 and under for the 5K.
