Ascension Seton Supertri Austin
Ascension Seton Supertri Austin is a multi-distance triathlon held in Austin, Texas. The event features open distances with swim, bike, and run legs on a course that goes through downtown Austin and nearby parks. The swim takes place in Lady Bird Lake, the bike leg passes city streets with the Texas Capitol visible, and the run goes through Butler Park toward the finish at Auditorium Shores.
Race distance options include:
- SuperSprint: 400m swim, 10km bike, 2.5km run
- Sprint: 750m swim, 19.8km bike, 5km run
- Olympic: 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run
The event offers individual and relay entries and has age group divisions for men and women starting at 19 & Under and extending through 85+. Paratriathlon awards are offered for the sprint distance, with awards for the top three female and top three male finishers in each distance.
Participants receive timing, a medal, and a T-shirt. The finish area includes an expo experience and a finish line festival with snacks, drinks, and live music that is open to athletes and spectators. Course routes are subject to change.
