The Wiener Run 5K & 10K
The Wiener Run is a running event with a thematic focus on hot dogs and supporting dachshund rescue. It takes place at East Metro Park in Manor, Texas. The event offers multiple race distances.

- Kids Dash (a 20-yard dash for participants aged 10 and under)
- 1 Mile Run
- 5K Run (3.1 miles)
- 10K Run (6.22 miles)
- Volunteer then Run 5K (a combined volunteering and running option)

Each registered runner receives a free hot dog and beverage at the finish line. The event includes finisher medals and race shirts. On-site features include a live DJ making name announcements at the finish line, aid stations on the course, and a live awards celebration.
The event partners with a local dachshund rescue group and collects donations of dog food, toys, and treats. Adoptable dogs may be present. Awards include a Bigfoot Trophy for the first overall male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K, special recognition for first Masters (40+) finishers, and standard age group awards for those distances. The Kids Dash and 1 Mile Run are not chip-timed.
