Event overview
The Wiener Run 5K & 10K - Fort Worth is scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Webb Community Park, 1100 Mansfield Webb Rd, Arlington, TX 76002. The event includes in-person and virtual options and a partnership with a local dachshund rescue; a portion of proceeds will support the rescue and the organizers will collect dog food, toys, and treats on site. Runners receive finisher medals and race shirts, and a hot dog and beverage are provided at the finish line. Aid stations are available along the course. The event takes place rain or shine and uses public park paths, so participants should expect to share the route with dog walkers and picnickers.

- Kids Dash - 20-yard dash for ages 10 and under; not timed; includes a race tee, finisher medal, and an exclusive pin.
- 1 Mile - not chip-timed; includes a race tee and finisher medal.
- 5K - chip-timed; approximately 3.1 miles; awards for age groups, masters recognition, and overall top finishers.
- 10K - approximately 6.2 miles; awards for age groups, masters recognition, and overall top finishers.
- Virtual run option available.
Logistics and other information
Packet pickup opens 1.5 hours before race start. Volunteers can choose several roles; volunteer rewards include a race shirt, VIP access, and a choice of a future race entry or a $20 Amazon gift card. The "Volunteer Then Run" option is limited to the first five sign-ups and includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal. Course surfaces include pavement, crushed granite, and grass paths.
