Event Overview
The Bigfoot Challenge is a Veterans Day sunset event taking place at Waterfront Park in Clermont. The courses are set along a paved waterfront trail, providing participants with views of the sunset during the run. The event supports the Dansville Running Programs.

- 5k Run/Walk
- One Mile Fun Run
- Virtual 5k
- Little Foot Kids Dash
Course Details
The 5k event is a chip-timed out-and-back race on a paved trail. Participants are expected to complete the distance before dark. The One Mile Fun Run uses the same start and finish lines as the 5k but is not chip-timed. For younger participants, the Little Foot Kids Dash for ages 12 and under features a short out-and-back sprint where children run alongside a mascot.
Participant Items and Timing
All participants receive a patriotic t-shirt and a hand-painted wooden finisher medal. The 5k race features professional live chip timing with results available online or via text and email.
Awards and Recognition
The 5k race includes awards for various categories. Custom trophies are provided to overall and masters (40+) winners. In addition, medals are awarded to the top three finishers in several age groups ranging from 12 and under to 80 and over. Awards are presented live during the event.
