Event Details
The Bigfoot Challenge 5K Veterans Day Run/Walk takes place in Clermont, Florida. The event is held at Waterfront Park, with the address 330 3rd St.
Available Distances
The event offers four separate registrations:
- 5K Run/Walk
- One Mile Fun Run
- Virtual 5K
- Little Foot Kids Dash (for participants aged 12 and under)
Participant Perks
All entries include a patriotic T-shirt and a custom Bigfoot finishing medal. The T-shirt features a 250th-year patriotic design. The Little Foot Kids Dash also includes a custom Bigfoot medal and a T-shirt.
Timing and Awards
The 5K race features live chip timing by J3 Timing, with results provided online and via text or email. Age group awards for the 5K are presented live during the event. Bigfoot trophies are awarded to overall winners and masters (age 40+). The top three finishers in each age group, from 12 & under to 80+, receive awards.
Course Information
The 5K course consists of one loop around Buffalo Creek park, followed by a route on sidewalks and side roads in an out-and-back format. A separate Park Loop option is a 0.8-mile run. The Little Foot Kids Dash is a short out-and-back sprint.
