AdventHealth Girlz on Fire Sprint Triathlon & 5K
The AdventHealth Girlz on Fire Sprint Triathlon & 5K is a women only event held on Mother’s Day weekend, May 8, 2027, at Clermont Waterfront Park in Clermont, Florida.
Event distances include:
- 5K Run: 3.1 mile Run/Walk.
- Sprint Triathlon: 440 yard swim, 8.4 mile bike, 5K run.
- Sprint Duathlon: 1 mile run, 8.4 mile bike, 5K run.
The swim takes place on a rectangular course in Lake Minneola. The projected water temperature is 82 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit and wetsuit use follows USAT rules. The bike course travels clockwise around Lake Minneola. The run is an out-and-back on the South Lake Trail. Course maps are available from the organizer.
On-course features and participant items listed by the organizer include a finisher medal, event T-shirt, finisher tiara, and an accurately measured and monitored course. Award categories mentioned are top three overall and masters, top three in five-year age divisions for the Sprint Triathlon and 5K, top three relay teams, top five overall in the duathlon, and top three overall in Aquabike and Aquathlon.
