Bigfoot Challenge 5k Flag Day Run/Walk
The Bigfoot Challenge 5k Flag Day Run/Walk takes place on June 13, 2026 at Buffalo Creek Park in Palmetto, Florida. The event offers a mix of in-person and virtual options and is presented with a patriotic theme for the 250th year T-shirt design.

All entries receive a patriotic T-shirt and a custom Bigfoot finishing medal; the finishing medals are handpainted and unique. The 5k uses live chip timing with results provided online and via text or email; timing is managed professionally. Age group awards include trophies for overall and masters 40 plus, and top three awards in standard age divisions presented during the event.
The Little Foot Kids Dash includes a custom medal and a T-shirt, is an out and back run held before the main 5k, and parents may run with their child. The virtual 5k allows participation from any U.S. location; bibs, shirts, and medals are mailed after participants upload their times.
