BIGFOOT CHALLENGE 5k Flag Day Run/Walk

The BIGFOOT CHALLENGE 5k Flag Day Run/Walk takes place on June 13, 2026 at Buffalo Creek Park in Palmetto, Florida. The event offers multiple participation options and on course features that use park trails, sidewalks, and nearby side roads.

All entries receive a patriotic T shirt and a custom Bigfoot finishing medal, with a 250th year patriotic T shirt design noted for 2026. Finisher medals are described as one of a kind and hand painted. The Little Foot Kids Dash includes a medal and a T shirt and is a short out and back sprint run with Bigfoot. A photo opportunity with Bigfoot is available.

The 5k is professionally timed with live chip timing by J3 Timing. Live results are provided online and optionally via text or email. Age group recognition for the 5k includes trophies for Overall and Masters 40 plus, with top three awards presented live in multiple age brackets from 12 and under through 80 plus.
