About the race
The Big Pirate Run takes place at Garry Point Park in Richmond, BC, now in its fourth year, offering 1-3 km Little Pirate Run; 5, 10, 15, and 21.1 km. Runners dress as pirates along a course on the West Dyke and Middle Arm Trails, starting and finishing at Garry Point Park. The route has minimal inclines and stable gravel for a comfortable run, passing Terra Nova Park, with occasional views of planes near YVR.
Chip timing for the longer distances, a finish clock for the kids’ route, wooden finishers medals. Registration includes a pirate name bib and costume item, and a festive, prize-filled atmosphere with vendors. Pet- and stroller-friendly; charity partner Richmond Food Bank.
