About the race
The Grove City Area Federal Credit Union Grateful Gallop is an annual 5K event held on Thanksgiving morning in Grove City, Pennsylvania. The in person course starts on Greenwood Drive and follows the Hunter Farm bike path. A virtual 5K option is offered in addition to the in person race.

The event raises support for the Grove City Community Food Pantry and includes a donation box for non-perishable food and toiletries. Registration opens October 5 and closes October 30; the registration fee is $25.00.
Packet pickup is available at the Grove City Area Federal Credit Union, 1600 S. Center St. Ext., on the three days before the event: Monday, November 23 (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM), Tuesday, November 24 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), and Wednesday, November 25 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM). Timing is provided via chip timing by Wolf Creek Race Management using MyLaps equipment. A water station will be located near the halfway point of the course. Parking is available at the Grove City College Colonial Hall lot, the site of the former middle school.
Awards are presented to the top five overall male and female finishers and to the top three in the listed age categories: 12 & Under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-60; 70 & Over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
