Big Mack Sprint Triathlon
The Big Mack Sprint Triathlon is scheduled for June 20, 2026 at Lake Cammack Park and Marina in Burlington, North Carolina. The event uses Lake Cammack for an open water swim in a venue that is rarely open to swimmers. The swim begins with a time trial format to reduce congestion. The bike course follows quiet rural roads around the park. The run is a shaded double loop on park roads and trails.
The event offers multiple race formats and entry options. Athletes may compete individually or as members of relay teams. Relay teams can consist of two to three people and all team members must be registered and hold a USAT annual or one day membership. Big Mack is part of the Trivium Multisport Series, where participants can earn series points and collect medals across a season of events in North Carolina.
