Event
The Big Halloween Run is the 2nd annual themed fun run in partnership with Striderz Run Club. It takes place on October 30, 2025, at Vancouver's Olympic Village (Athletes Way). The event offers the following distances:

- 5 km
The run is pet and stroller friendly. Pets and strollers must start in the last wave for safety.
Details
The route follows the seawall near the Creekside Community Centre, runs toward David Lam Park, then returns along the seawall. The surface is paved with minimal inclines. Timing is by a finish clock only; there is no chip timing.
Registration details include a personalised Halloween name bib (customize by Sep 28), a finishers souvenir, a measured route, a water station, entertainment, and door prize opportunities. Early bird pricing is listed from $20 for 1-3 km and $35 for 5 km. Discounts apply for group bundles of four or more and for under-18 entries on the 5 km. Entries are non-refundable.
Packet pickup is available in advance at Kintec Vancouver (1201 W Broadway) on the day before the event; an on-site pickup option is also offered.
