Event
TRiO Race Series Race 1: Up the Creek is a road/trail running event held in Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada. The event offers two distances:
- 5k
- 10k
It takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Hyde Creek Recreation Centre on Laurier Avenue. The race is part of the TRiO Race Series, which includes additional races in May and July.
Registration and logistics
Entries have staged pricing. For individual 5k and 10k entries the base prices listed are: until March 15 Adult $45 and Youth $25; until March 25 Adult $60 and Youth $30. Youth is defined as 16 and under. Team entries have separate pricing: until March 15 Adult $36 and Youth $20; until March 25 Adult $48 and Youth $25. Team registration requires the team captain to register first and invite members using a password set by the captain.
Race package pickup has two options. Prepickup is at Arc’teryx Coquitlam Centre, 2929 Barnet Hwy Unit #2822, Coquitlam, on Thursday, March 26 (5:00-6:30 PM). Pickup is also available on race day at the event venue starting at 7:00 AM. The series includes a draw for three pairs of Arc’teryx shoes; the first 100 runners who register for the full three-race series are entered, and registration for all three races is required to qualify.
