Big Foot Trail Run
Big Foot Trail Run is a trail race held at Mt. Airy Forest Playground, 1010 Trail Ridge Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45223. The event is part of the Alpine Trail Race Series Season 3 and uses the park's off-road trail system across nearly 1,500 acres.
Distances offered:
- 5K race
- 10K race
- Half-Marathon, 2 loops of the 10K route
- 30K, 3 loops of the 10K route, ITRA/UTMB index race
All participants must register on RunSignup. Registration opens January 3, 2026 and closes April 25, 2026. Entry fees are non-refundable. The course time limit is five hours. Organizers reserve the right to change the race route as deemed necessary.
Race features include themed 5K and 10K races, finisher medals for all finishers, and finisher t-shirts for Half-Marathon and 30K finishers. T-shirts for other distances are available for purchase; custom t-shirt orders require signup at least 12 business days in advance to receive them on race day, otherwise shirts will be shipped afterward. Costumes are encouraged but not required, and best costume awards are given at live races.
Walkers are welcome. No dogs are allowed on the course. A 15% discount is offered for participants under 18. The event awards series points to competitors; series awards are given to top point earners and mailed on December 1. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
