The 6th Annual Big Bill Big 5K
The event is a community 5K run/walk held at Robinson Preserve Expansion, 9th Avenue Northwest, Bradenton, FL on January 17, 2026. It is produced by the Big Bill Foundation and Fit2Time Race Management and includes in-person and virtual options. The event also features a Kids Dash for participants 12 and under.

Race services, rules and awards
All in-person 5K participants receive a chip-timed race bib, a finisher's medal, and a commemorative shirt (shirt sizes are first come, first serve; a no-shirt option is treated as a donation). Runners must be 5 years of age or older; children 4 and under must remain in a stroller when with a parent or guardian. Strollers and walkers should start at the back of the start corral.
Awards include 1st place overall Male/Female and 1st place Overall Masters Male/Female (based on gun time) and 1st–3rd in standard age groups (based on chip time): 12 and Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Awards must be picked up on race day; uncollected physical awards are forfeited after two weeks.
Virtual participants must upload their time after completing the run to receive a shirt and medal by mail and are not eligible for age group awards.
Charity and logistics
The Big Bill Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) whose mission is to provide academic scholarships to youth who have battled childhood cancer; scholarship winners are honored at the event. Packet pickup is available in the days before the race at local Fit2Run stores and on race day at the Robinson Preserve southern expansion. The event notes a weather cancellation policy under which registrations canceled due to severe weather are not refunded and funds may be treated as donations to the beneficiary.
