Big Bear Turkey Trot - Big Bear Lake, CA
The Big Bear Turkey Trot is an annual running event held on Thursday, November 26, 2026, in the Moonridge area of Big Bear Lake. The race uses Dank Donuts (42612 Moonridge Rd) as the start and finish location and follows a paved course through pine forest and local trails.
The primary distance offered is a 3-mile run that includes the Rathbun Creek Trail and a lap through the Moonridge Zoo. The event program features a holiday-themed warm up yoga session, a costume contest with awards eligibility, and a finish line Danksgiving party with live holiday music and adult beverages. A kids run is offered separately.
