Bidwell Classic 5K, 10k and Half Marathon : Chico, CA
The Bidwell Classic is scheduled for March 7, 2026, at Sycamore Field in Lower Bidwell Park, One Mile Recreation Area, Chico, CA. The event offers three distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 10k Run/Walk
- Half Marathon
The 5k and 10k courses are flat, paved, and free of traffic. The half marathon follows looped circuits that include about a quarter mile of single-track trail on each loop. All events start and finish at the One Mile Recreation Area.
Timing is provided with a gun start and chip finish. Aid stations are located on course: 6 for the half marathon, 3 for the 10k, and 2 for the 5k. Restroom facilities are available at One Mile recreation, Cedar Grove Park, Peterson Drive access, and portable units at the start and finish. Finisher medals will be provided to all half marathon finishers; medals and age-group awards are available for 5k and 10k runners as supplies remain.
A portion of entry fees supports local high school cross country programs. The race offers a cash prize for top male and female finishers in each event. Packet pickup is available the day before at Fleet Feet Chico and there is a limited race-day pickup window. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
