Event overview

The Beyond Saguaro National Park West run/walk takes place on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Saguaro National Park West in Tucson, AZ. The event is free and non-competitive. It is part of the annual Beyond Events and is produced in collaboration with Beyond Tucson, Saguaro National Park, and Southern Arizona Roadrunners. Due to parking and trail usage concerns, the event is limited to 300 participants.

Course and logistics

The course is an out-and-back on well-graded dirt roads within the park. Parking is along Kinney Road; the start is at the intersection of Kinney Road and Hohokam Road. Organizers ask participants to enter Kinney Road from Milewide Road and to exit toward Sandario Road after the event. Participants should not leave cars parked along Kinney Road after the event. If planning other park activities afterward, move vehicles to a designated parking area. Roads may be rough in places; strollers with wheels suited to rough terrain are recommended.
