Beyond Saguaro National Park West 4 Mile Run
This free, non-competitive running and walking event takes place at Saguaro National Park West in Tucson, Arizona. It is part of the annual Beyond Events and is produced in collaboration with Beyond Tucson, Saguaro National Park, and the Southern Arizona Roadrunners.
Distances offered:
- 4-mile run/walk on well-graded dirt roads
- 1-mile fun run/walk
The event start is at the intersection of Kinney Road and Hohokam Road. Parking is along Kinney Road; participants are advised to enter Kinney Road from Milewide Road and to exit after the event via Sandario Road. Participants are asked not to leave cars parked along Kinney Road after the event and to move vehicles to designated parking areas before hiking or doing other park activities.
The course is an out and back on dirt roads. Strollers may be used, but some sections can be rough; strollers with wheels suited to rough terrain are recommended. Due to parking and trail usage concerns, the event is limited to 300 participants.
