Beverly Homecoming 5K Road Race
The Beverly Homecoming 5K Road Race is a historic community tradition held in Beverly, Massachusetts. The event takes place at Lynch Park and follows a flat, scenic course through oceanside suburbs. Neighbors often line the streets to provide support to participants as they navigate the route.
The race features several categories, including:
- 5K Adult
- 5K Child (13 and under)
- Wheelchair
Strollers are permitted on the course. However, dogs are not allowed at Lynch Park. The event is timed by Bay State Race Services, with results posted at the finish line and emailed to participants.
Awards are presented to the first-place male and female overall winners. Medals are also awarded to the top three male and female finishers in various age groups, ranging from 13 and under up to 70 and over. Additionally, the top three non-binary and wheelchair finishers receive medals. Special prizes are reserved for the first-place male and female finishers who are residents of Beverly.
Participants receive a unisex crew neck t-shirt on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, which must be picked up before the start of the race. Registration proceeds support the Greater Beverly YMCA in providing community programs such as swim safety, childcare, and youth development.
Free parking is available for Beverly residents with a sticker. Non-residents are required to pay a cash-only gate fee. Limited street parking may also be found on surrounding side streets where permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
