Beverly Hills Run of the Stars
The Beverly Hills Run of the Stars is a community athletic event held in Beverly Hills, California. The course takes participants through flat, scenic streets in the local area. This event serves as a fundraiser for Not Today Cancer, a non-profit organization focused on childhood cancer research and finding new treatments for the disease.
The event offers several participation options:
- 5K Run/Walk: A race through Beverly Hills streets open to all ages.
- STARS of Tomorrow Kids 1K: A shorter race specifically for children under the age of 10.
- 5K from ANYWHERE: A virtual race option for those unable to attend in person.
Participants have the choice to run or walk individually or as part of a team. For those attending the physical event, registration includes a shirt and a bib. A packet pick-up is organized on the day before the race, though race-day pick-up is also available at the festival area. Participants are required to wear their bib on the front of their clothing for identification and photography purposes. If someone else is collecting materials on behalf of a participant, they must provide a printed copy of the participant's ID and a signed waiver.
The virtual challenge allows participants to complete their distance from any location globally. This format encourages involvement during Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Although the 1K is restricted to children, the 5K distance is open to all ages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
