About the race
Beverley Half Marathon takes place on 22 August 2027 in Beverley, with the event village and race start and finish at Saturday Market (HU17 8AJ). The road-closed route passes Beverley Minster, crosses the open green of the Westwood and heads onto quiet country lanes before returning to the town centre. The course has an elevation gain of 140 m and is chip timed. Entry includes a unique themed medal, free race photos, post-race goodies and a bag drop.
There is water roughly every 5 km and at the finish, portable toilets in the event village and about halfway, and a secure marquee for baggage. Organised by RunThrough, the event names Dove House Hospice as its 2027 Charity of the Year; Dove House Hospice provides care in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire and has been operating for almost 40 years. Other charities supported at the event include Hull Womens Aid. Practical notes for race day include a three hour cut-off due to road closures and a minimum age of 17. Beverley town centre offers pay and display parking nearby and both Beverley train and bus stations are within walking distance of the event village.
