Bend Beer Run
The Bend Beer Run is a recreational event located in Bend, Oregon. Participants follow a scenic course that travels through Drake Park and the downtown area, staying close to the Deschutes River. The event focuses on the experience rather than competition, as the distance is not timed.
The course features the following distance:
- 3.1 miles (5K)
Along the route, there are four designated stops featuring craft beer from local breweries. The path starts at The Commons Café on NW Brooks Street and concludes at the Deschutes Historical Museum. Because the event includes alcohol consumption, it is restricted to participants aged 21 and older.
Registration includes entry to The Little Woody Festival, which takes place at the finish line. This festival provides participants with a tasting glass and tokens for beer or cider. The atmosphere is further enhanced by live music and games. While running or walking is the primary activity, there is also a focus on creativity, with a costume contest providing prizes for the best-dressed groups and individuals.
