Event Overview
The Happy Girls Sisters event takes place in Sisters, Oregon, offering a variety of race distances for female participants of different experience levels. The event features both trail and road running options, starting and finishing on the FivePine campus among Ponderosa pines.
Course Information
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- Half Marathon: An all-women trail race covering 13.1 miles on the Peterson Ridge Trail system.
- 10K: A road race of 6.1 miles that travels through the downtown area of Sisters.
- 5K: A 3.1 mile road race winding through scenic town sections.
The half marathon course consists of single-track paths located within the Deschutes National Forest, providing views of the surrounding landscape. The 5K and 10K events utilize paved roads through the local community. Registration for the half marathon distance is restricted to 500 runners.
