Belmar Five Mile Run
The 50th Annual Belmar 5 Mile Run takes place in Belmar, New Jersey along the Belmar oceanfront and local streets. The program includes the primary 5 Mile Run, a 5 Mile wheelchair division and Kid's Races for ages 1 to 12 held the preceding day at Silver Lake Park.

Registration options and fees are tiered by date: early bird, pre-registration and race week rates are listed for both the main events and the Kid's Races. Race bibs will be mailed to the registered address if registration is completed by July 31; Kid's Race bibs and t shirts are available for pickup during race week.
The event supports the Goodwill Hose Co., a volunteer organization; charitable contributions raised by this fundraiser help defray some operating costs for local emergency fire and rescue services.
Course and safety rules restrict the race to registered runners, wheelchair division athletes and official race personnel. Unregistered participants, unauthorized vehicles, strollers and baby joggers, roller blades, in-line skates, skateboards, pets and bicycles are prohibited. Bib numbers must be visible and only the registered participant may cross the finish line. No backpacks are allowed. There is a 90 minute time limit for the Five Mile Run, and the event runs rain or shine unless weather poses a danger. No refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
