River Rock 'N Run 5K
The River Rock 'N Run 5K takes place on November 22, 2026 at River Rock Restaurant and Marina Bar, 1600 Rt. 70, Brick, New Jersey. The event is presented as the fifth annual running event at this location.
Distances offered:
- 5K: two loop course
- Relay: two person relay, each runs a 1.5 mile loop
The 5K uses a scenic riverfront routing with two laps to complete the distance. Runners receive a halfway split and a final 5K time. Relay teams use a baton handoff between a leadoff leg and an anchor leg; individual split times and the team finish time are recorded. Divisions for relay teams include Family, Co-Worker, Male, Female, Mixed, and Student.
Registration opens May 10, 2026 and closes August 9, 2026. The registration fee listed is $30 for the 5K and $20 per relay team member. The field is capped at 250 participants and event T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 200 registrants.
All event proceeds are designated for Fulfill (Monmouth / Ocean County Foodbank) in time for the Thanksgiving holiday season. Participants gather inside the River Rock Restaurant after the race for post race food, prizes, and raffles. The event notes over $26,000 raised in the first four years.
