The New Jersey Fall - Monmouth Battlefield
The New Jersey Fall takes place on November 28, 2027, at Monmouth Battlefield State Park in Manalapan Township, New Jersey. The event offers three distances: a half marathon, a 10K, and a 5K.
The course uses park roads and trails; about three quarters of the route is under trees and much of it is on soft dirt rather than pavement. The route is described as hilly with several long inclines and no extended flat sections. The event uses looped courses: the half consists of four loops of approximately 3.27 miles each, the 10K is two loops of about 3.1 miles each, and the 5K is a single 3.1-mile loop. Yellow signs with black arrows mark intersections and indicate which distance they serve.
Support and facilities include marked water stations and support at every mile, with three water/Gatorade/gel stations per loop. Race-day services listed include bib pickup (race day only), bag check, portable toilets at the start, and pre-race announcements. Live tracking and a live video stream are available during the race.
Timing and results are chip based with per-lap splits and immediate live results. Finish-line photos and video are provided and posted to participant pages. Every finisher receives a tech shirt and medal; awards include plaques for overall top three men and women and medals for top three in each age group. Entry rules require a visible bib on the front torso, completion of the half marathon within the event time limit, signed waivers, a minimum age of six, and prohibition of coaches, baby-joggers, bikes, dogs, in-line skates, and skateboards on the course.
