The Bellmore Merrick Turkey Trot is a community 5K run/walk with a separate kids 1/4 mile fun run held on Thanksgiving Day, November 27. The event takes place at Mepham High School front parking lot, 2401 Camp Ave, Bellmore, NY. The race benefits the Dr Mara Bollettieri Community Cupboard. Online registration is closed.

The event offers live online, text, and email results and free finish line photos and same-day video. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance receive a personalized bib. Bib pickup is handled by event staff on race day; participants must know their bib number or use the self lookup area. Registrations completed shortly before pickup will receive a bib number by text or via the bib lookup system. Awards are given to the top male and female overall and to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
