Belleville Thanksgiving 5K Run
The 16th annual Belleville Thanksgiving 5K Run and Kids Turkey Chase is an in-person event on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, held in Downtown Belleville at the Public Square. The event includes a community 5K and a separate youth Turkey Chase.

Early packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Toolen's Running Start, 3260 Greenmount Crossing Dr., Shiloh, IL 62269. Registration options include advance and later entries with different shirt guarantees.
Entry fees and shirt guarantees are stated as follows: 5K registrations are $30 until October 25, 2026 with a guaranteed shirt, and $35 from October 26 through race day without a guaranteed shirt. Turkey Chase registration is $15; registrations completed by October 25 are guaranteed a shirt, while entries from October 26 through race day are not guaranteed a shirt.
All proceeds benefit the Belleville Hockey Club. The event will proceed in rain, shine, or snow. No refunds are given if a participant cannot complete the run. If public health mandates require a change to a virtual format, the event may convert to virtual and refunds will not be issued.
