The Belle Haven 5k & 10k takes place on February 21, 2026, at Belle Haven Park in Alexandria, VA. Distances offered:

The event is chip timed. Runners receive a finisher’s medal and a technical event shirt. A virtual race option is offered. Walkers and strollers are welcome. Points from the races count toward the organizer’s year-long 5k, 10k, and Winter Series.
Course, logistics and awards
The route uses the paved Mount Vernon Trail with views of the Potomac River, forest, and swampy areas. The course has minimal elevation change. The 5k is an out-and-back route on the Mount Vernon Trail. The 10k follows the same route and continues about 1.55 miles farther before a second turnaround.
Water stations: four on the 10k at approximately miles 0.9, 2.5, 4.0, and 5.55; two on the 5k at approximately miles 0.9 and 2.5. Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Restroom facilities are on site. Packet pickup is available at the event; there is no on-site race registration.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to the top two in standard age groups (19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). Live results and event photos are posted after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
