The routes run on park trails and include hills and event‑exclusive tracks through parts of Belair and Crafers. The marathon course has about 1500 metres of elevation gain and the 50 km course has nearly 1800 metres of elevation gain. The park contains historic buildings and pavilions and was established in 1891.
