Beer City Half™ Sacramento
Beer City Half™ Sacramento is set for May 3, 2026 in Old Sacramento, CA. The event includes several running and walking events and a post-event area with local brewers. The half marathon course crosses the Tower Bridge, goes past Drake's Barn and along the Riverfront, and returns on the American River Bike Path.

Additional activities include a beer mile called Beat the Beast, in which competitors drink four 12-oz beers while running a mile; a competitor eliminated if caught by the event "Beast." The Beermazing Race challenges participants to visit five brewers, drink a pint at each, and find clues to the next taproom. A Shindig at Drake's Barn serves as event headquarters and covers the first beer with ticketed entry. The Beer Trolley runs between Old Sacramento (start/finish), Drake's Barn, Jackrabbit Brewing, Fieldwork and other stops, with service approximately every 45 minutes and hop-on, hop-off access.
