Beer City Half™ Sacramento : overview
The Beer City Half™ Sacramento takes place on May 9, 2026, in Old Sacramento. The event group combines road and trail sections that cross the Tower Bridge, pass Drake's Barn and the Riverfront, and return along the American River Bike Path. All runners receive a shirt, a Key to Beer City finisher's medal, and a custom tasting glass. The post-race refreshments feature tastings from local brewers. The Beat the Beast beer mile requires drinking four 12-oz beers while covering one mile; a competitor overtaken by a designated "beast" is removed from that race. The Beermazing Race involves visiting multiple brewers to drink a pint and locate clues at each stop.
