About the race
Beer City Half Fort Worth takes place on October 10, 2026 at The Shack at Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, Texas (395 Purcey Street, 76102). The event combines road races, shorter fun events, and a post‑race festival at local breweries.
The running distances include:
- Half Marathon
- 10k
- 5k
The Half, 10k and 5k loop around the Trinity Trails. Race entry packages include a Beer City race t-shirt, a custom tasting glass, a Key to Beer City finishers medal, and a 7‑ounce tasting cup with unlimited tasting at the post‑run festival.

- Beer Stroll, a one mile walk that is not timed and includes the same amenities as race entries.
- Beat The Beast Beer Mile, in which participants drink four 12‑ounce beers and run a mile with roughly 1/4 mile between drinks; runners eliminated if overtaken by the Beer City Beast.
- Lazy Friend Beer Only Pass, which provides festival tasting access without running.
- Top Dog Dash, a half mile dash for participants with dogs; finishers receive a Beer City cape and a Shindig pass.
- SHINDIG, an afternoon brewery party with music and games; the ticket includes the first beer or a non alcoholic drink and there is an entry fee for non runners.
