Findlay Beer Chase 5K benefitting the Braden Kramer Foundation
The event is a timed 5K that starts and ends at Findlay Brewing Co., with a course that runs on roads, sidewalks, and a paved trail along the Blanchard River and through Riverside Park. The route is primarily on street and trail surfaces and is stroller friendly, though participants should be aware of sidewalk elevation changes. A Findlay Police Department guide vehicle and volunteers will be present to help direct participants.
This is an OPEN course, which means most roads will not be closed for the event; participants are responsible for obeying traffic laws and regulations. East Crawford Street will be closed the morning of the event for sponsor tables, packet pickup, and the kids dash. The event is rain or shine.
Registration for the 5K includes race timing, a race shirt, and a voucher for a pint at Findlay Brewing Company for participants aged 21 or older. Runners who finish before the event "beer" may receive an entry to win gift cards, with prize drawings requiring the winner to be present. Top male and female 5K finishers receive gift cards, and age group awards are offered for multiple age brackets.
Additional offerings include a Super Hero Kids Dash on East Crawford Street. Each kid participant will receive a gift bag and a shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
