About the race
The Women's Resource Center of Hancock County presents the 16th Annual Turkey Trot in Findlay on November 26, 2026, held at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 750 Bright Rd, Findlay OH. The event includes in-person and virtual options and a youth Tot Trot.
Distances and event types:
- 5K in-person Turkey Trot presented by Chick-fil-A Findlay.
- 528 yards Tot Trot for ages 8 and under presented by Marathon Petroleum Corporation.
- 3.1 miles Virtual Turkey Trot 5K option.
The 5K course passes through the Country Club Acres neighborhood west of the parish. The route is not a closed course; participants should remain aware of traffic and follow course instructions.
Awards are for in-person participants and include top 30 male and top 30 female finishers, plus prizes for Thanksgiving costumes. The event is not timed.
The event is family friendly: strollers are welcome, dogs are allowed on leash but are not permitted inside the building. Parking is available in the church lot with overflow parking at Gabe's, with a walkway to the church.
Registration opens September 9, 2026 and closes November 13, 2026. Standard entry fees are $35 for the 5K and virtual 5K, and $20 for the Tot Trot. Fees increase after November 13; shirts are guaranteed for registrations by November 13.
