Beaver Lake Triathlon
The Beaver Lake Triathlon is staged at Beaver Lake Pavilion in Sammamish, Washington. The event combines an open-water swim, an out-and-back road bike on Duthie Hill, and a neighborhood run around Beaver Lake with a short wooded section near the finish.
The full triathlon distances are:
- 1/4 mile swim in Beaver Lake
- 13.4 mile road bike on Duthie Hill
- 4.3 mile run around Beaver Lake
The bike course includes hilly terrain on Duthie Hill and offers views toward Mount Si in North Bend. The run is described as flat and fast for most of the loop, with the final half mile passing through a wooded area.
Multiple race formats are offered, including full triathlon, duathlon, aquathon, aquabike, and relay teams. Registration packages note a long sleeve dry release race T-shirt, finisher medal, entry into the pre-race pasta feed, and results posted on the USAT website. All registered athletes must have USAT membership; one-day Bronze memberships are available.
