Beaver Lake Triathlon 2026
The Beaver Lake Triathlon takes place in Sammamish, Washington. The event features a multi-sport course that utilizes the natural landscape of Beaver Lake and the surrounding neighborhood. Participants can enter as individuals or form relay teams, including corporate groups.
The course consists of three distinct segments:
- 0.25 mile swim in Beaver Lake
- 13.7 mile hilly bike ride on roads including Duthie Hill
- 4.3 mile run through the local neighborhood and forested trails
The run portion is characterized by a flat and fast pace through the neighborhood for the first section, concluding with a final half mile through the forest. All bikes must have plugged handlebars, and no motorized bikes or flotation devices for the swim are permitted.
The event weekend includes several scheduled activities. A pre-race safety briefing is conducted via live stream. On the day before the triathlon, a pasta feed with a live band is held at Beaver Lake. On the day of the event, participants check in and rack their bicycles at the start area. Following the competition, an awards ceremony is held at the Pine Lake Ale House to recognize the champions. The venue at Beaver Lake provides parking spaces and restroom facilities for attendees. Typical weather conditions for the area during this time are cool temperatures in the 60s with sunny skies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
