Beaver Fever 5K
Beaver Fever 5K is the first annual nighttime 5K run and walk held on school property at the McCulloch Rd School Forest, at the corner of McCulloch and Calhoun Road in Beaverton, MI. The event takes place on October 24, 2026 and uses the Beaverton Schools cross country course.
The course runs on flat, wide-track trails and consists of two laps. The night route will be marked with small LED lights and participants are strongly encouraged to use headlamps. The course is a trail surface and may be more difficult for strollers; organizers advise that young participants walk or run with an adult. Dogs are not permitted. The site is a drug, tobacco, alcohol and weapon free area.
All participants receive professional timing and a Beaver Fever finisher medal. Race registration includes a shirt when that option is selected; the guaranteed shirt size deadline is October 11, 2026. Packet pickup and late registration are available at the race site on race day.
