There is a 13.1 Challenge that combines the 5K and the 10 Mile for a combined result. The festival includes a prize purse of more than $6,000 and age group awards in the 10 Mile, 8K, 5K and the 13.1 Challenge. Youth participants receive event swag and a finisher prize, and the top three male and female finishers in the youth race receive awards.
Cotton T shirts are guaranteed only through March 1st. Tech shirt upgrades are offered during registration and extra shirts may be available on race day on a first come, first served basis. Participants in the 10 Mile and in the Beaufort Challenge must complete the first loop within one hour to begin the second loop; those who plan to walk are encouraged to use the 5K walk or the 8K since neighborhood streets must reopen after the event. The festival also features food trucks and live music after the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
