About the race
The Palmetto Bluff Turkey Trot includes a community 5K and a 0.25 mile Kids Fun Run, held at Wilson Village Green in Wilson Village, Bluffton, South Carolina. The course runs through Palmetto Bluff, and the event welcomes strollers and dogs.
One hundred percent of event proceeds benefit the local chapter of United Way, which supports education programs, family financial stability, and healthy community initiatives in the area. All registrants receive a t-shirt; guaranteed t-shirts are available for registrations completed by the guaranteed-t-shirt deadline, with sizes not guaranteed. Additional t-shirts may be available for purchase at packet pick-up.
Online registration opens September 5, 2026. Online registration with a guaranteed t-shirt closes November 12, 2026, and online registration without a guaranteed t-shirt closes November 24, 2026. No race-day registration is available. Adult online registration with the guaranteed-t-shirt option carries a stated fee of $35 and is shown as $25 for later online registration without a guaranteed t-shirt.
Packet pick-up options are provided prior to race day, including an early packet pick-up location at a local running store and a resident-only pick-up at the chapel adjacent to Wilson Village Green.
Awards include overall turkey trophies for top male and female finishers, medals for the top three in each age division, and awards for the top three dog finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
