Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry presents the 5K Turkey Trot in downtown Beaufort, SC on November 27, 2025. The event is presented by Grayco Hardware & Home and is part of the Beaufort Triple Crown, a three-race 5K series; a combined-series registration bundle is offered through October 1, 2025. The course starts and finishes on Bay Street at Freedom Mall, proceeds across Woods Memorial Bridge to Lady's Island, turns at Meridian Road, runs to Youmans Drive, then returns to Freedom Mall. The listed entry fee is $45; registration closes on November 25, 2025. Day-of registration is available for a higher fee.
Logistics and rules
Packet pick up (race shirts and bibs) is available at Grounded Running, 2139 Boundary Street, Ste 108, Beaufort, on Wednesday, November 26, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after November 1, 2025. Age categories run from under 12 up to 70+. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age division; trophies are awarded to the top three male and female overall. The event is dog- and stroller-friendly; flexi-type leashes are not allowed and pets should be on a standard 4-6 ft lead. The closest parking reference is the downtown marina parking lot across from 1015 Bay Street; the race will block the bridge, so plan parking accordingly. Registration and shipping fees are nonrefundable; if an in-person race cannot be held, entries will be transferred to a virtual format.
