Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry TURKEY TROT 5K 2026

Registration is available online with a listed fee of $40.00; in-person registration and race-day registration are noted at $50 per person. Race shirts and bibs are distributed at packet pickup the day before at Grounded Running, 2139 Boundary Street, Ste 108; shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after November 7, 2026. Pre-registered participants may also pick up packets on the morning of the event.
The Turkey Trot is part of the Beaufort Triple Crown series alongside the Run Forrest Run 5K and the Swing Bridge Run 5K. Participants who register for the Triple Crown and complete all three races are eligible for series awards for best combined time; the Triple Crown registration bundle is available only until October 1, 2026.
Awards include medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age division and trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers. Age divisions are under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. The event is dog and stroller friendly; flexi-type leashes are not allowed and pets should be on a standard 4-6ft lead.
Participants are advised to plan parking in advance near the downtown marina parking lot across from 1015 Bay Street, as local road closures and increased traffic are expected. Registration fees and shipping fees are non-refundable. If an in-person event cannot be held, the event will be converted to a virtual format.
