The race takes place on the Cameron Park Trails, which consist of dirt and rocky single-track. The course is hilly, with a reported 1200 feet of elevation gain per 10-mile loop. The start and finish location is the Redwood Shelter at 2300 Cameron Park Dr, Waco, TX 76708. Historic average weather for the time of year is 54-74 degrees Fahrenheit.

Race Details

The event is a "no-cup" race, meaning all participants except those in the 5 km are required to carry a water-carrying system with a minimum 16-ounce capacity. Headlamps are required for 50 km and 50 mile participants when it is dark outside.

Multiple aid stations are available on the course, including a main aid station, the "Rinky Dinky" station, and an "Emmons" water station. The main and Rinky Dinky stations provide hot/cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice, and ice.

Awards and Logistics

All finishers receive a collectible finisher medal and a tri-blend t-shirt. First-place male and female trophies are awarded for all distances. Additional awards include a patch for 10 mile RUCK finishers and a belt buckle for 50 mile finishers.
