The Brazos Legend - Waco, TX
The Brazos Legend Trail Run takes place in Cameron Park, Waco, on April 3, 2027. The event offers multiple trail distances on dirt and rocky single-track trails that use the park's looped course, with the start/finish at Redwood Shelter (2300 Cameron Park Dr, Waco, TX 76708). A water-carrying system is required for participants, with a 16-ounce minimum. Aid stations are located on the loop and include a main aid station at mile 0 and mile 10, Rinky Dinky at mile 5.5, and Emmons at miles 7.5 and 8. Aid stations provide hot and cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice, and ice; separate water-only stations are listed. No drop bags will be shipped due to the short loop size.
RUCK entries have weight requirements: 30 pounds for participants over 150 pounds, 20 pounds for those under 150 pounds. For the 50K and 50 mile distances, a headlamp is required when it is dark outside. Race gear and awards include event longsleeves, finisher medals for multiple distances, a 10 mile RUCK patch, first place awards by gender, and a Dead Freakin Last award for the 50K. The race is part of the Texas Legends Series, which spans Central Texas; series pass details are provided with availability through January 20, 2027.
