Bear's Den Fitness Hybrid Race
Bear's Den Fitness runs a two-day hybrid fitness race on September 5–6, 2026, at 400 E 2nd St Garage, Boyertown, PA. The format is inspired by HYROX and DEKA and offers team competition on Saturday and individual competition on Sunday. Saturday is a team day with Men's Pro, Women's Pro, Mixed Pro, Men's Open, Women's Open, then Mixed Open in that order. Sunday is an individual day with Men's Pro, Women's Pro, Men's Open, then Women's Open.
The event uses a nine-station sequence. Each station begins with a 600 m run; teams run the 600 m together and then split the station repetitions between partners. Competitors choose either the Pro Division or the Open Division. Entry is $60 per person; entering both days costs $100 total, a $20 difference from two single entries.
Stations (S1 to S9) and prescribed movements include sit ups with a medicine ball, a 1,000 m SkiErg, sandbag over shoulder, an 88 m burpee broad jump (8 x 11 m sections), a 180 m dual kettlebell farmer carry (2 x 45 m out and back), a 1,000 m row, a 60-calorie Echo Bike, 88 m walking lunges (8 x 11 m sections), and 100 wall balls. Loads vary by category; for example S1 medicine ball loads range from 30 lb for Men's Pro down to 14 lb for Women's Open and Mixed Open, and S3 sandbag loads range from 100 lb for Men's Pro to 50 lb for Women's Open and Mixed Open.
