Event overview
The 16th Annual BEACHFRONT RUN takes place on May 30, 2026, at Ventura Promenade, 668 E. Harbor Blvd., Ventura, CA 93001. The event offers multiple race options and supports City Impact’s programs for youth and families. The event features vendors, music, and an awards ceremony. Participants receive a custom event shirt and a finisher’s medal; preferred shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after March 15, 2026. All proceeds benefit City Impact.

Course and race policies
All races begin on the north side of the Ventura Pier and the start line is also the finish line. The course is flat and runs along the oceanfront promenade with views of Ventura’s coastline. The half marathon extends along the Pacific Coast Highway; the 10K reaches Emma Wood Campground and returns; the 5K is an out-and-back on the promenade. Courses are subject to change. The event is held rain or shine. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Running strollers are permitted but must start at the back because of some narrow sections.
Registration and results
Race-morning registration is available; free event shirts are only guaranteed for pre-registered runners. Packets are not mailed. Entry fees are non-refundable. Transfers and race changes are allowed under the event’s transfer policies. Live unofficial results will be shown on-site and posted online shortly after the race.
