Beach to Beach 5K
The Beach to Beach 5K is a community road race held on October 4, 2026, at the Morris Town Beach Complex in Morris, Connecticut. The event features a 5K out-and-back route that follows East Shore Road along Bantam Lake, with rolling hills and lake vistas and a finish at Morris Town Beach.
Chip timing is provided by Fast Track Timing. Awards are given in all standard age divisions, with additional awards for top local finishers from the lake area. Event shirts are provided to registered participants; to be guaranteed a shirt, registration must be completed by September 25. Registrations received after that date will receive a shirt while supplies last.
Online registration is offered with a stated fee of $30 and closes on October 3. Day-of registration is available for a higher cash-or-check fee. A registration tent is used for packet pickup and day-of registration and closes before the race begins.
All proceeds from the race support the Bantam Lake Protective Association, a private nonprofit devoted to the preservation of Bantam Lake and its surroundings. The association works with local partners to maintain water quality for swimming, fishing, boating, and other water activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
