Beach and Road 10K
The Beach and Road 10K is a race held on October 11, 2026, in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The event starts and finishes at Pier 1 on Old Orchard Street and covers a distance of 10 km (6.2 Miles). Walkers are welcome.
The course is an out and back route from the Pier in Old Orchard Beach to the Breaker in Pine Point. Part of the route runs on the beaches and the return section uses local roads. The format and course are described as coastal and road running over the same route in both directions.
Registrations include tiered fees with a lower early registration rate and higher fees later in the season. Registrants by September 20 receive a race singlet while supplies last. The event awards cash prizes of $100 for overall winners and offers age group and team awards. The race makes donations to the organization A Running Passion.
Post race arrangements include a pizza buffet at Jimmy the Greeks on Saco Avenue in Old Orchard Beach. Packet pickup and race day registration are organized at the Pier.
