5K on the Beach presented by Brooks

The event takes place on Friday, July 17, 2026, on Rockaway Beach Blvd in Rockaway Park, NY. It is presented in partnership with Brooks and is organized as an evening 5 kilometer race on the boardwalk and adjacent beach area.

The program includes three waves: an Open wave, a Men's wave with an estimated sub 21:00 goal time, and a Women's wave with an estimated sub 24:00 goal time. Registration asks runners to provide a goal time so they are placed in the correct wave.

The course is described as fast. The event includes a post race dip in the ocean and an after party. Every registered runner receives an exclusive event giveaway. Space for the event is limited.
